Hey Folks, we're so glad to have you with us today. We offer this celebration each year with hope that it will help our Nevada County community experience Christmas in a fresh and creative way.Christmas isn't just for children, but it sure brings out the child in all of us. I will always remember Christmas experiences as a little boy in Oklahoma. My parents did their best to make sure we knew we were loved, but they also wanted us to know the supernatural side of this often secularized event. The key my parents taught me is that we are celebrating the birth of God's Son. I know I didn't always understand everything that meant, but I do know it requires the same kind of faith to believe it now as it did then. I must have a childlike faith - not a childish faith - but a belief that supernatural events can occur even if I don't understand it all.Our "Believe" Christmas Eve service is about the birth of God's Son into our world. It’s our hope that this time together will restore your belief or bring you to a place where, like a child, you will choose to believe.Wishing you a very Merry Christmas,Pastor Ron
