Georgia Tann is a name somehow lost in history. But, for 26 years, Georgia Tann and the Tennessee Children’s Home Society stole and sold an estimated 5,000 children through black market adoption. Through trickery, deceit and outright fraud, she stole children from parents through a variety of sources such as baby scouts, corrupt Judges and even more corrupt politicians. This week, we're diving into a story full of intrigue, fascination, horror, and disbelief as we learn about the things Georgia did and how it has shaped modern de-stigmatized adoption.
