I'm not sure why but I could never wrap my mind around this drill ,we ran almost every practice my last year of playing youth soccer. I didn't improve at this drill as the season progressed and all it did for me was to make me feel out of touch. The bad drill season also corresponds with growing troubles in school because of dyslexia. The combination might have been part of the reason I stop playing soccer and switched over to playing American Football.
