Noa invites Daniel on a charity trip to Puerto Rico, where things don't go as planned but Daniel holds his own among the entertainment people and even Noa’s jealous ex Colin. Vanessa stays close to the Garcias as still wants to get close to Daniel and helps Mateo land his next gig as a DJ. Vanessa and Mateo start building a definite bond. Mari invites Natalie's crush Amy to their house, and makes it a big deal when Natalie has a bad kiss with Amy, she needs her mom to back off a bit.
