He's a powerhouse of local music, and many may not know that Steve Ames is classically trained in opera; this is just one of MANY many facets of the man I had the pleasure of spending a Saturday with recently. Steve is unapologetically liberal, heartfelt and lives by the motto "the Devil cannot abide to be mocked" resulting in feisty exchanges with many folks who post in all caps on local news sites. It was a great day, and I feel fortunate to know him a little better. Enjoy some great tunes and a boozy romp!
