I met up with Marcos and Jeff from Here Lies Man at their show at The Hare & Hounds in Birmingham in November to find out more about their new album 'You Will Know Nothing' out now via Riding Easy Records.

I caught up with Mike Cunniff from Boston Manor at their show in Birmingham on Sunday 23rd September to find out more about their new album 'Welcome To The Neighbourhood' out via Pure Noise Records. We also chatted about the bands which got Mike into alternative music, what inspired him to play guitar, which records he would want with him if he was stranded on a desert island and what he's listening to right now.

Luke Johnson and Lee Downer from LA's LowLives are the special guests on this weeks podcast. I broke my Tech Fest cherry recently and by crikey I'm glad I did. What a festival!! Small enough that you would be hard pushed to miss any bands, incredible sound on every stage, a super friendly family vibe and a real sense of community. Not to mention the INSANELY good music and bands. As I'm sure you can tell, I'm a fan. Hence why I put together this Tech Fest Special featuring music and interviews with the bands who played, plus conversations with the music related vendors who had stalls there.

This show features interviews with: Bleed From Within, Unprocessed, Miscreant, Sikth, Valis Ablaze, The Five Hundred and Long Branch Records.

Part 2 featuring more interviews, including one with the festival organiser, Simon Garrod, will be aired next week.
