Digging Deeper- -Since He was without sin, why was Jesus baptized- How does Jesus's baptism point to His sacrifice on the cross- What does the Spirit resting on Jesus signify- Given the Father's declaration, if a person opposes Jesus, who are they ultimately opposing- What is the doctrine of the Trinity- How is it seen in this passage- Describe the Father's relationship with His Son. Now think about what happened at the cross. Glory that now in Christ, we are loved by the Father with the same love- -John 17-23-.
