In this meditation broadcast, Rameen discusses how to feel safe.
"We must keep working and developing these basics, until the basics are no longer existing, and we are able to access a quality of space. If you are not yet able to access this quiet, it's just because you are deciding that it's not yet time to cultivate yourself in such a way that you can say ‘mind, please be quiet’ and mind says ‘okay'. For you to say ‘mind, please be quiet' and the mind says ‘okay', the mind actually has to feel safe. But what safe means is that the mind and its thoughts, can express themselves freely without getting yelled at, without getting chased away, without the individual experiencer throwing up their mental arms in the air and saying 'why me?!’ This applies to individuals who are just starting meditation but also individuals who have been meditating for 25 years. We're all still working on this piece because it's a very predominant aspect within our human experience." -Rameen
