Real growth comes from confronting weaknesses head-on: live and studio rhythm, sight reading, recording, mixing, creativity. I’ve learned that true satisfaction only comes when those gaps are faced, and I stopped running.

Very stoked to release this one. I was lucky enough to meet Paul on an Australian tour in 2024 when our bands played at The Forum in Melbourne.

We instantly hit it off and became friends. His character and demeanour are unreal, and The Screaming Jets are one of the most iconic Australian rock bands.

I was walking my dogs in 2020 when I received an email to join Mammal. Amongst gigs and touring, we worked hard on the release of the new album The Penny Drop.

This has been one of the most involved and awesome projects I’ve ever had the privilege to be part of. In this episode, I take you sexy legends through my perception, workload, and my bass contribution to this album, creating and recording my parts out here in my home studio in The Basin.

I first met Dylan by chance around 2011 while playing a show in NSW, Australia. Straight away I knew he was an audio production wizard, so in the early days I chased him down (around 2018) to be the mix engineer for kadeturner.com.
