Social media says 2026 feels like 2016 again. In 2016, at our RENEW Lectureship, the theme was “Revisiting the Battle…” as we studied the struggle with modernism, denominationalism, moral impurity, and false doctrine — but the truth is, the battle never left. And in 2026, the question isn’t just what are we fighting? It’s who is responsible? Romans 13:14 says, “Put on the Lord Jesus Christ.” The battle is real, but responsibility is personal.
