The Battle of Pavan Khind
The battle of Paavan Khind is very similar to war where 300 Spartan fought against thousand of Persians.
Baji Prabhu Deshpande and his men blocked the Sultan Adil Shah's army chasing Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Paavan Khind mountain pass.
The battle was completely unmatched, the ratio of strength is 1:50, with one side army of 15,000, well prepared heavily armored infantry and other side 300 Shivaji’s light infantry.
300 Mavala's of Shivaji led by Baji Prabhu killed 5000 of Adil Shah's Army and 8000 were deadly injured.
