The Beatitudes Deep Dive: Blessed Are The Pure In Heart | Part 06
Have you ever felt like God was blurry? Like you know He’s there, but you can’t quite see His hand in your daily life? After a season of introspection and stepping back to face a "tough patch," I’m back to dive into one of the most challenging and rewarding Beatitudes: "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."
In this episode, we move beyond surface-level "perfection" to understand the Greek concept of Katharos—purity as a state of being "unmixed" and "unadulterated". Using the analogy of gold being refined in the fire, we explore how God sifts the "dross" of our hidden motives and selfish agendas to give us a "singleness of heart".
We also discuss why a pure heart is the "clear lens" through which we see God’s intent in our circumstances and how to practically guard our hearts in a world that constantly tries to smudge our vision.
