"Never say anything to yourself you wouldn't say to a five-year-old. Whenever you look at yourself in the mirror, see that beautiful child. You would never look at a little one and be like: Get off your ass! Right? You would pick them up, set them on their feet, and ask: What can we do today?"

 

For today's episode, we prepared something different. After recording last week's episode with Juliet Carillo, my good friend and I thought it would be interesting if we reversed roles and I got interviewed by her. So we sat at our virtual campfire for a bit longer and restarted our conversation. 

 

Throughout our conversation, we talked about my spiritual awakening and healing journey after losing my late husband, Tim. We also discuss grief's different stages, how challenging finding love after losing a spouse can be, and if it is possible to transition from survivor to thriver.
