Today on Absent Sounds, we're celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Beautiful Letdown— a fundamental album in the story Switchfoot (and consequently the story of us), and then after that we play through Jo Passed's 2018 record, Their Prime.

Within the cannon of "music that formed me," you'd find Switchfoot near the top. Few bands have managed to grab a permanent seat at our table as prominently as Switchfoot has; and for that, high school, university, current and future me will always pay homage :)
