Remember that we are examining the beauty and faithfulness of marital love, and by that, our relationship with the Lord and His church. In these verses we see the great desire this Shulamite woman has for her beloved. She desires him. She longs for him. She goes to great lengths to find him. This speaks of the beauty of that type of dedication a wife might have toward her husband. We are not giving a lot of attention here to how the husband feels about his wife for a very simple reason. This is because we know that Jesus is the Bridegroom, and we know that He loves us. So here we see:
