Shakespeare’s plays continue to be treasured by millions around the world. Dr. Henry Russell is directing a performance of one of Shakespeare’s early comedies, Love’s Labour’s Lost, in Ann Arbor this spring. He joins us to dive deeper into the meaning of Shakespeare’s works.

The performances are Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, May 17 and 3:00 pm at the U-M Lydia Mendelssohn Theater. Tickets are $10 or $40 for families and may be purchased at the box office or by emailing [email protected].

Dr. Henry Russell is Headmaster of the St. Augustine’s Homeschool Enrichment Program, which he founded with his wife Crystal. The program began in Fall 2005 with 20 students in two living rooms and now tutors more than 140 students in three locations.

Dr. Russell’s works include The Catholic Shakespeare Audio Series. He was the Associate Editor of The Formalist from 1990-2004 and his writings have been published in various journals. He was honored to edit Dr. Alice von Hildebrand’s groundbreaking volume, The Privilege of Being a Woman.
