Welcome to a new year and another episode of naked and unashamed where today, I'll be talking about where I've (truthfully) been for the past twelve months.

My mom's basement.

The basement has taught me a lot, and perhaps, the biggest blessing in our lives is that the basement "seasons" are meant to shape us and not sever us. I hope that this first episode back is an encouragement of sorts and gives you permission to hold both hope and honesty.
