Topic: Low Hanging Fruit
I was once that low hanging fruit, that woman that had no self-esteem, that woman that had no self respect. I was that woman who was easily manipulated by any one that felt they could do so. I never stood up for myself I never found my power or the strength and who I was and that’s what allowed me to be in situations where others controlled my moves, controlled my actions, controlled how I felt.
Today, I am a stronger person and a stronger version of myself. Today I thank God for that, for giving me the strength to know who’s I am, for helping me to understand that I don’t have to let anybody run over me or treat me poorly.
I made a mistake not standing up to certain people in my life. I would not tell them what I was uncomfortable with, and I allowed negativity into my space which then affected my life. I had no boundaries (the standard that you set for yourself on what you will tolerate and won’t tolerate).
Friend, we have to be so careful as to who we allow in our lives how we allow them in our space. Even what they are allowed to control or not control.
How to stop being low hanging fruit:
🚦1. We have to first learn how to set boundaries for ourselves.
🚦2. Be bold enough to teach and express to everyone our boundaries
🚦3. Feel safe and strong enough to reject things people and their poor treatment.
Other people in our lives shouldn’t be able to control us as Individuals. The other person might get upset but they will understand in time. You have to protect you.
The healthiest relationship is the one they you we have with ourselves and then others will follow our lead. Being the one that is strong enough to stand up for what we want as a person and never being afraid to tell someone how you feel is the truth.
This is my In life now: If they don’t respect your boundaries that Person wasn’t meant to be in your life anyway....
