Buddhists have a concept called the Beginner’s Mind. It’s an attempt to stay open and avoid complacency. Sometimes knowledge can be a curse. Experience is a wonderful thing. However, knowledge and understanding of how things work can prevent us from seeing clearly. I also discuss an article I found called Humble Narcissism. It might sound like a contradiction, but the two can be a nice combination.
