It’s an awesome story of the beginning of Zuko’s reign, the Fire Nation’s cultural renaissance after a century of war, and how the Gaang help him along the way. So I tried having different regional accents, because these kids are all from different corners of the world. So Fire Nation has British accents, because they’re the second easiest for me to do, both have historically had brutal navies, and honestly I’d like to think it sounds refined. As the major two fire benders are royalty, I think it works. Water Tribe has an (Northeast) American accent because it’s the easiest for me to do, and because honestly I wanted to pretend that Katara has my voice. Also making Sokka have a deep voice was kind of funny. Earth Kingdom has (Southeast) country accents because when I think of their land, I think of farming tbh. Also making Toph sound like a southern belle who will kick your ass is funny to me as well. As for Aang (Air Nomads) I did a crappy half Scottish/half Irish accent. I usually use crappy Russian as my third most used accent, but I felt like that didn’t fit Aang. However, a crappy Scottish/Irish voice seemed to fit him a bit better, so I went with that. Here’s just a list of voices just so everything is clear.

Aang: Scottish/Irish

Katara: normal

Sokka: deep normal

Toph: Southern Belle

Zuko: English

Suki: Russian

Iroh: deep English

And random voices for other characters.
