How many of the troubles of the world are due to men attempting to lean on their own understanding? The Fear of the Lord is absent most everywhere we turn.

We witnessed what might be considered a miracle in our sinful world this last week. The new speaker, Mike Johnson, of the House of Reps. knelt down and prayed to God.

Warrior’s Prayer Lord, I come before you seeking the strength and skill to overcome my enemies. Grant me I pray, the wisdom to recognize evil, the courage to confront it, and the strength to destroy it. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
