The Beginning Step in Accepting our Real Function (ACIM Giant Stride #1)
In this video, Shannon and Cate take the group through the first of ten lessons that Jesus refers to as either “Giant Strides” or “Largest Single Steps”. The first giant stride lesson is w61 I am the light of the world.
“This is a beginning step in accepting your real function on earth. It is a giant stride in taking your rightful place in salvation.” (Paragraph 3)
Cate and Shannon give examples of what being the light of the world looks like. At the end, Shannon leads the group into a meditation making space in our minds for the acceptance of our only function. Cate finishes the meditation by asking the group to think about the ways they make themselves little due to fear and then instead imagine themselves the light of the world.
