Every believer has been given delegated spiritual authority through Christ, yet many Christians pray for healing instead of commanding it like Jesus and the apostles did. The early church understood their identity as representatives of God with power to heal the sick and demonstrate kingdom authority. The key difference lies in moving from a prayer mindset to an authority mindset, understanding that we have been commissioned to exercise the power Christ has already given us. This authority comes through developing a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit and understanding our true identity in Christ.
