The foundation of spiritual authority begins with controlling your thoughts and words. When Jesus said to take no thought, He meant we have a choice in which thoughts we accept by verbalizing them. Thoughts only gain power when we speak them out loud, creating strongholds in our minds. Christians cannot be cursed unless they give power to those curses through their own words. Speaking in tongues provides a powerful tool for taking heavenly thoughts instead of negative ones. Your words determine whether you walk in life or death, as they justify or condemn you based on which thoughts you choose to accept.
