In this foundational sermon, Pastor Desire (PD) teaches on the believer’s authority in Christ. He defines a true believer as one who has accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, confessing with the mouth and believing in the heart (Romans 10:9-10). This is not emotional or by good works, but by the finished work on the cross, making us the righteousness of God (2 Cor 5:21).PD clearly distinguishes power (dunamis – inherent ability) and authority (exousia – delegated right). Using Luke 10:19, Jesus gives us authority over all the power of the enemy. We have positional authority (seated in Christ – Eph 1:20-23), delegated authority (sent as He was sent), and empowered authority (by the Holy Spirit). Know who you are and walk in your authority!Key Scriptures: Romans 10:9-10, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Luke 10:19, Ephesians 1:20-23
