Psalm 12 enters into a war of words between the wicked who use their tongues for lying and deceit and between the Lord whose Word and Promises are Truth.  God’s Word can be trusted as a Word that is solid and refined completely. And we know that Word to be incarnate in the Lord Jesus Christ!

“The Belt of Truth” is part of the Armor of God that St. Paul lists in Ephesians 6:14. This describes the Scriptures themselves that holds us fast and equip us for a life of faith in Christ. The word “Belt” also happens to be a pun on my last name. So join me each time as we gaze into the Scriptures to find Jesus Christ our Lord!
