She received her medical degree from East Carolina University. She then pursued her pediatric residency and pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine. She transitioned into the biopharma industry early in her career and brings 18 years of experience working in biopharma. She has worked in small to large biotech/pharma organizations including both private and public companies. Along the way, she also completed an MBA from Northeastern University.
