Neuromancer by William Gibson. A precursor to The Matrix and easily the most influential cyberpunk story of all time.

Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. This killer story takes cyberpunk to a whole new level, in Stephenson's signature gritty style.

Altered Carbon by Richard K Morgan. The first in a trilogy, these books have also been adapted into an insane Netflix series.
