10 October 2021 - 20th Sunday after Pentecost - The lie of the Devil is that we can have the good life without God. Jesus exposed this lie by his faithful obedience. Rev. David Pileggi tells us that we also expose Satan's lie when we live like Jesus. Jesus called us to give to the poor and needy. When we do, we not only combat the Devil but we proclaim the merciful, generous character of God. We also invest in our eternal future. Jesus called the Rich Young Ruler to radically trust God with his wealth, but he was unwilling. Are we ready to trust God with our money?
