Embers and Wind

The Best Is Yet to Come

Listen Later

Welcome to Embers and Wind!

Guest Sanna Kettunen tells what she means when she says that The Best Is Yet to Come: “I mean the words I’m saying that no matter where we find ourselves in life, what situation may occur outside of ourselves that is either challenging or it’s like just good or it’s amazing. But everything is still in front of us. We are constantly evolving, and the future is for us to look forward to with hope and anticipation like I wonder what’s next to come. And that’s for each one of us, but it’s a mindset thing that we have to train ourselves to switch like from the negative hopelessness to seeing the good in it, and it’s there.”

I'm your host, Keith Weedman. In each podcast episode, you will hear stories. These stories will feel like a tender wind blowing on the embers of service that glow within you. She talks about three foundational affirmations that she believes everyone wants to hear growing up: 1) I’m proud of you; 2) I believe in you; and 3) I love you. She stresses the importance of self-awareness, self-love, and self-expression. She describes self-love as essential to be able to love others. She talks about fear as a resource to help you instead of as an obstacle to stop you. She describes how she counters negative self-talk with positive affirmations and how she reads these positive affirmations at the start of each day as she looks at herself in the mirror.  She shares She states that she lives in southern Finland with her three sons. She acknowledges that English is the third language she speaks. She shares her passion and purpose is to raise awareness of the importance of self-awareness, self-love, and self-expression. She intends to be there as a resource to help people heal from unhealthy relationships which is why she wrote her book and became a mindset coach because she understands how scarey and lonely the journey back to authenticity can be. She reminds you that the best is your best.
