In this segment…we are actually going back to when Pitmasters was being released for the very first time…and as I think about it…why the hell was a TV channel deciding to release a BBQ show in the middle of winter??  So weird when you think about it…however, it didn’t diminish the amount of buzz that was going around the industry back then and how excited everyone was to have the industry exposed to the mass public…and really…this is the show that caused the “golden era” of BBQ that I mention every so often on the show…with John Markus and without this show…we have known of what we had in that 5-8 year stretch.
