Goodbye 2018, Hello 2019!

On this episode, we discuss the best in movies, music, and media for 2018 and what we're looking forward to in 2019. FX's "Pose" was a groundbreaking & honest exploration of Ball culture; Cardi B. & Jannelle Monáe slayed with their amazing albums; movies liked "Black Panther" and "A Simple Favor" were standouts: and The Vixen left an indelible mark on RuPaul's Drag Race & challenged the complacency within the drag community regarding racism.

2019 promises to be an exciting year, with some of our favorites returning and new projects premiering. We are awaiting Season 2 of "Pose" with baited breath, and can hardly wait for Valentina's turn as Angel in "Rent LIVE" on FOX. 

We also talk about our own personal triumphs in 2018 and the progress we hope to make in 2019.

The Best Of 2018

Grizzly Kiki began in April 2014 as a pop culture and drag-centric podcast hosted by Robert &amp; Daniel. The podcast is equal parts oral history and good old-fashioned kiki. We’ve found that there were few platforms where queer artists could talk about their work and themselves in an open and honest way. Our mission is to create a comfortable and safe environment, where these artists can share their histories and experiences. Ours is an intersectional podcast that is meant to serve the queer community by capturing artists’ voices and making them available to the public. It's time to Drag Out The Vote!

The non-partisan organization is working with drag performers to promote participation in democracy and is registering voters at drag events across the country.
