Let's say you get back from making a fairly large purchase and you find that you weren't charged for an item that costs several hundred dollars. What would you do?

DJ spent ages 11-18 with no electricity or running water. It changes your perspective when you have something, then you don't. But in today's episode, DJ talks about when you PURPOSEFULLY remove comfort to make a change.

DJ calls this the UNcomfort principle - from simple things like adjusting the temperature in your house or recycling to even more uncomfortable things like fasting... a change is going to occur.

What you may not realize is that it is YOU that changes more than the world around you, and that is very important!

We all carry guilt. But none of us should.
Today I'm actually telling two stories, but the important one is about a poor kid that taught us everything we need to know about guilt - even though we treated him like garbage.

DJ and Terry talk about how our culture is becoming toxic with ways we seek division rather than unity. We hear things like, "Yeah, Ellen but George Bush _____" typically followed by rhetoric... sometimes rhetoric that is obviously untrue based on what is happening.

Terry wonders - what ever happened to wishing the best for our fellow human beings? Suddenly our culture seems to hope for failure and find ways to divide.

There are quite a few lessons in this episode - but the bottom line is that if we can't wish the best for people; we can't leave the world any better. While sometimes we feel we must 'resist' things that are happening that are negative - if all we can do is respond with hate or hateful accusations of someone's character... we gain nothing and only serve to alienate.
