Why were the sacrifices of the Old Testament never enough, and why did they need to be repeated again and again? In Hebrews 9, we are shown that those sacrifices were never meant to be final. They pointed forward to something—and Someone—greater.

In this message, we explore the contrast between the earthly tabernacle and the heavenly sanctuary, the limitations of repeated animal sacrifices, and the once-for-all sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Christ entered the true sanctuary, offered His own blood, inaugurated a better covenant, and secured eternal redemption forever.

Because Christ’s better work, believers are called to rest fully in Him, with cleansed consciences, settled assurance, and confident hope as we await His return.
