We worship The God of Miracles. It is completely natural for God to work miracles because he is, by nature, supernatural. God is over nature. He rules. God himself is the uncreated cause of all things that exist in our natural world. So what's all the fuss about?
When Jesus, God in flesh, was on earth he was tempted by Satan. Jesus could have used his divine power to crush Satan in less than a split-second. Instead, Jesus chose a very interesting weapon. Jesus used God's Word. Jesus said, "It is written." Could it be that this item we call the Bible, this collection of pages that rests on nearly every bookshelf in America, this Bible we hold in our hands, has miraculous power? It is no accident that God's Word is called the Sword of the Spirit. The Bible is a miracle we can hold in hands.
