Many Christians have not taken the time to properly interpret the word “sojourner” (or “stranger”) as it appears in Scripture. These terms are not meant to be understood as a reference to “illegal” immigration. The Bible staunchly affirms the legitimacy of borders and legal citizenship. Perhaps, Democrats need to sit a few plays out.
