Is the Bible, in particular, the Old Testament; is it a history book or is it a book of mysteries? While I do believe there is history that the Bible tells, I believe it is primarily a book of mystery. These Mysteries are revealed in signs and symbols, types and shadows, and allegory and parables. We talk a little about that today, but will dive into the meaning of Genesis 1:1 in the next episode.
