Currently, we're in a series that is based on a book that I wrote five years ago: Meeting God at Wits' End. The Hebrew meaning for "wits' end" refers to the swallowing up of all our own wisdom. When we don't know what to do, or even what to say, God is our only hope.
In today's episode, we're considering Ps. 62:1. When we're at Wits' End, nothing and no one will do but God alone. At those times, we have to wait for Him with hope and expectation, knowing that He is all-sufficient, more than able to save us out of or strengthen us amidst our trials and troubles.

"Hope in God: Overcoming Discouragement through God's Word and Spirit" is based on three similar statements, found in Psalm 42:5, 11, and 43:5, where we read:
"Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God."
These recordings are done in order to encourage you in your faith and walk with Jesus, especially when you are struggling with discouragement or what is referred to as spiritual depression.
No matter who you are or what you may be going through, there is genuine hope, a hope that outweighs everything you may face in this fallen world.
Additionally, these recordings are done in order to raise funds for Bibles for the persecuted church, desiring to encourage those who are suffering for their faith.
Here's how you can be a blessing: when you purchase the following $10.00 book deal, you will, in fact, provide one Bible to the persecuted church.
