The Word of God is living and active, and it’s meant to be alive in us as well. James 1 challenges us not to stop at hearing or knowing God’s Word, but to let it move us to action. It’s in the doing that our faith becomes real, that we grow, and that we experience the true blessing of living in God’s will.
