We're onto February and the Big 5 is looking the best they have in years in conference play. St. Joe's has won 7 of their last 8 games and is in a top four spot in their conference, as is Temple and Drexel in the American and CAA, respectively. Villanova leads the pack at 8-3 in the Big East, good for third in the conference, while Penn is just outside the top four in the Ivy League. All of these teams will be looking to make runs in their conference tournaments in just about a month!

It was a very busy week in the Big 5 play, with every team playing two games since our last episode except Drexel. Cope was down in Richmond on Monday for VCU-St. Joe's where he got to ask Phil Martelli Jr. about the connection between his family and the school. Kyle was also at La Salle and Temple, with the Explorers having the best week in the Big 5 with their wins over St. Bonaventure and Dayton. Plus more on Penn's chances in the Ivy League and Villanova staying steady in the Big East!
