- "Be very careful then, how you live- not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the LORD's will is."
Ephesians 5:15-17
- Be very cautious - do not live as "whatever happens, happens."
- Be wise, not unwise; "Boys act on impulse, men think of consequences."
- The unwise act on what they want, but the wise act on what is right.
- Make the most of every opportunity. Do not just "go with the flow," you will not end up where you need to be.
- Do not be foolish, understand what the LORD's will is. We sometimes creep towards sin without getting too deep into it, thinking that we will be ok.
- What do we do with our past? We either run from it or learn from it.
- Our past can not be something that hinders us from living in the present and planning for the future.
- With what I want to become one day, what will I get involved in today?
- Do not sacrifice a tomorrow for doing something today.
- Nobody plans to mess up their life, but nobody plans for failure either.
- GOD can take my past and redeem it into something beautiful.
