Today I get personal and talk about the time I had cancer and how it led me to marathon running. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2001. I was 26 years old at the time.

I knew something was wrong with me. I was coughing non-stop, very lethargic and had really bizarre reactions to alcohol. After 6 months chemo and 3 months of radiation I was cured. Cancer turned out to be a great teacher for me.
