In this last episode of our Big Fix series we are going to travel into the hurricane, following the breaking of the public scandal and the multiple trials that followed. We will look at how the commissioner of baseball came to the decision to punish the players in the harshest way possible, and where it left these eight men after the dust settled.

For the eight members of the Chicago Black Sox, the revelation of the truth would lead them into a lifelong fight not to save their careers or salaries, but instead simply to try and salvage their legacies. And no player would struggle more to try and redeem his name on the pages of history than Shoeless Joe Jackson.
