My daughter and I read about Minnie and we're rooting for her and crying for her and got angry with her when she helped that mama of hers and cried when she experiences many losses! Her relationship to her grandfather was similar to my own. Loved both of the first two books and can't wait until the third one cares out this year!
He absolutely enjoyed it and wanted to buy the third one but ...
I personally have not read this ---my husband bought it and the first one. He absolutely enjoyed it and wanted to buy the third one but I quess it hasn't been released yet. He would highly recommend it and I too will be reading as soon as I finish the book I am currently reading.

Despite some poor reviews I thoroughly enjoyed this series...hoping for a third book!
Love It
I loved book 2. I read it one day. I couldn't put it down. I love books about the South, family history and most of all a book that paints the picture. This book was wonderful.
I will anxiously await book 3.
