The child endangerment case in Vinton County, Ohio has captured the attention of the nation. 16 children were found in a home in Hamden in conditions law enforcement described as "deplorable."

This special examines the moments investigators found 16 children in what they say was a 12' by 12' room, who the Siders Family is, and what happens to the children now that they're in state care.

BUSY weekend in central Ohio and chances of rain (00:35-08:25)

If you're bored in central Ohio this weekend, you aren't looking hard enough. The Ohio State Fair continues. Pelotonia kicks off its 18th year Friday evening. Thousands of cyclists and even more spectators will fill downtown Columbus to raise money for cancer research. Dublin Irish Fest runs through the weekend as well; filled with Irish food, music and culture. Saturday brings a chance of rain, but it won't be a wash out. 

Pammy Maye offered a plea deal (08:26-10:32)

The woman accused of killing five-year-old Darnell Taylor in 2024 was offered a plea deal. She must accept the deal either Friday or Monday. If she doesn't accept the deal, her case will go to trial in August. If she takes the plea deal, she will plead guilty to aggravated murder and abuse of a corpse. She would face a sentence of 21 years to life in prison.
