Starting July 1, Malaysia will begin enforcing regulations requiring all Singapore-registered vehicles entering the country to have a valid Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP).

This move follows an eight-year delay since the VEP system was initially proposed in 2017, with implementation postponed twice — first in 2019, then again in 2020.
