On this episode, we are talking about The Bikeriders. The Bikeriders came out this year, 2024, and was directed by Jeff Nichols and written by Jeff Nichols and Danny Lyon. This film stars Autin Butler, Tom Hardy, Jodie Cramer, and a long list of other amazing actors like Michal Shannon, Norman Reedus, and Mike Feist. The Bikeriders is based on a collection of photographs and interviews of a Midwest motorcycle club that Danny Lyon put into a book that was first published in 1968. Jeff Nichols was first introduced to this book by his brother Ben Nichols of Lucero, who also wrote a song called Bikeriders about the same group of folks.
