The Biko House is a co-operative living space, that provides a safe space for people of color and raises awareness on intersectional issues within and beyond the community of Isla Vista. The garage space serves as an all-purpose community space for meetings, performances, art exhibits, and workshops. KCSB’s Audrey Clark sits down with Zero Saldana, General Manager for KCSB, and one of the garage managers for Biko Garage, to discuss their role as garage manager as well as the role Biko House fulfils for the community.
