Not in the best shape former library book
Not bad at all
This is another great "in translation" book from FactFinders. Also try the Gettysburg Address in translation.The Gettysburg Address in Translation: What It Really Means (Fact Finders: Kids' Translations)
This is great for a basic introduction to civics, at a young age. The text of the amendments is printed in its original langauge, and then an explanaiton follows. Some vocabulary includes: iimpartial, infringe, seizure, probable cause, citizens, quartering...
This is worthwhile.
For older kids, I also like "The Bill of Rights" by Lucia Raatma.The Bill of Rights (Cornerstones of Freedom: Third)
