What a run!  What a friggen run!  The Edmonton Oilers had the most successful playoff run since 2006 and created so many story lines along the way.  

Welcome to Episode 22 of the BWE with Daryl and Trev.  After taking a few days to digest what happened in game 4 and reflect on the run this team went on, the positive vibes continue to roll.  We review the series between the Oilers and Avs and dissect the differences we observed between them and, talk about what issues rose to the surface.  

Now that the season is officially over, there are may questions about what happens next, Trevor and I give our thoughts on the pending RFA's, UFA's, possible trade candidates and, how the goaltending shapes up.  We also had a bit of fun in sharing our favorite moment of the year and end the pod with a bold prediction of what will happen between now and when free agency opens up.

Thank you for joining for the Oilers post-season run; we had a lot of fun talking hockey.  Congratulations to the Oilers on a wonderful and very successful year.

Game 1 wasn't perfect but they showed heart.  Game 2 was bad and there was no heart.  With game 3 upon us, what should we expect from the Edmonton Oilers.

Welcome to The BWE for a preview of tonight's game 3 of the Western Conference.  We're back after missing our pre-series preview and post game (1 & 2) breakdowns but, we've slid on in for a look at tonight's battle.  There is a lot to forget about the first 2 games, even more to throw away after the second period of game 2.  Hand it to the Avs, they're big, strong, fast, and aggressive; they're making the Oilers pay for mistakes & turnovers.  

All that aside, the faith is still strong in our Oil and the positive energy will be electric tonight in Rogers Place.  Enjoy game 3 and we'll have another episode tomorrow to review what happens.

Welcome to episode 19 of The BWE.  Today, Daryl looks back at game 2 to share his thoughts on what the Oilers were able to accomplish; thru individual efforts and, collectively.  There were so many stand out performance by many Oilers that really, were catapulted by Smith - once he settled in.  There was a lot to digest from game 2 but as we look forward to game to, at Rogers Place, Oil Country has a chance to join series and show the NHL what real fans look and sound like.

It took 31 years for the Battle of Alberta to come back to the NHL Playoffs and no one would have predicted what happened.  If you were looking for goals, you were happy.  If you were looking for big hits, you were happy.  If you tuned in to watch an NHL caliber game, you may have turned it off.

Welcome back to The BWE Podcast.  After what was a truly terrible goaltending battle, the Oilers came out flat again and the Flames took advantage.  Of course the Oilers came back to tie it but, ultimately, let Calgary run away with it.  There weren't too many words to use that could have described game 1 of the BoA but bizarre was 1st on the list.  Daryl is joined by Bryce and Trevor to break down what happened between the Oilers and Flames Wednesday night and look forward to what we should expect from game 2.  Hold on to your hats fans, it's going to be a wild ride.

The Oilers held out their best game of the playoffs for game 7 Saturday night.  Connor McDavid pick this team up and willed them to victory; literally and figuratively.
